Why Repair Your Kodak X-ray Sensor?
You can replace your sensor for thousands of dollars, but there is a strong chance that we can repair your existing equipment for a fraction of the cost of buying new.
Models We Repair
We currently service several kinds of Kodak X-ray sensors, including the Kodak RVG 5000, RVG 5100, RVG 6000, RVG 6100 and Trophy. If you have another model and are not sure if we can handle it, please use our contact form and we will return your call promptly and let you know.
How this works:
1.Once you pay contact us ,Promptdental will Email you a shipping label that you can use to send your broken sensor/s to the Promptdental facility.
2.When you receive your shipping materials please put your sensor in the box, place the label on the box, and give it to your USPS mail carrier.
3.Once we receive your sensor we will test, diagnose, and estimate the cost for repairs within 1-2 business days of our receipt.
4.Estimate will be emailed to you along with warranty information and authorization form.
5.Once you authorize the repair Prompt Dental will proceed to repair your sensor.
6.If your sensor passes our final testing and quality control phase we will bill you for the repair, package your sensor, and ship it out to you.
7.All repairs include warranty on parts and labor.
8. This listing DOES NOT include return shipping from Prompt Dental offices back to you. Once work is complete you will be responsible for return Shipping & Handling costs.
What Happens if We Can't Fix the Sensor?
We are here to provide a valuable service and save you thousands of dollars. But if we aren't successful, you pay nothing. When your dental x-ray sensor arrives, we carefully test to diagnose it and come up with a likely reason for the failure. We then communicate with you via telephone or email and let you know what's going on. Once approved, we work to restore your dental sensor. 9/10 times, we are successful.
But if we are not, you pay nothing.

-Sensor cable is replaced with brand new custom sensor cable. Cable uses slightly thicker gauge wire to insure greater strength while still being small enough to achieve superior flexibility
-Housing is re sealed and fully potted to insure no moisture contact with sensor and to inhibit future moisture -Sensor is tested by taking 36 X-rays on Phantom to insure sensor functionality
-Used Sensors come with a 90 Day Warranty or an optional 1Year Warranty
-Used sensors may have artifacts in the image, please review the images provided that are example images taken from the sensor prior to its sale. Tube heads or choice of exposure will affect the contrast, brightness and clarity of the image. Prompt Dental is not responsible for this.
- Any return of product will be subject to a 12% restocking fee and no refund of shipping.
We can repair ALL sensor make and modle on the market.
Even if the company you purchased your sensor from says
your x-ray sensor is not repairable we CAN probably repair it.
Loaner Sensors are available for limited brands, just ask.
